The Rabbittown Community Centre works with local residents and with public and private organizations to ensure comprehensive solutions to problems that impact our families.We provide opportunities and support in the process of individual and community capacity building to strengthen the community as a whole.

Here at Rabbittown we try to maintain a great sense of community, one approach we have learned to use is that of developing programming that we know will reflect the needs and desires of the community, this is based on engaging our community from a grassroots level.

Community Access Program

There are more than 160 communities in Newfoundland and Labrador that have community access centres. A typical centre has equipment such as computers and printers with access to a photocopier, and is staffed by members of the community.
