Fun way for adults to meet new people and enjoy a book. This group does a variety of activities related to the current book.


Teen Program | (top)

Offered at the Centre four nights a week, from 6:00-8:30pm. The program is open to Youth between 13-16.

Toddler Program | (top)

This program is for parents, caregivers and children under the age of five. Designed to encourage early learning in a group setting. Activities include: cooking, crafts, science, music and much more!

Healthy Baby Club | (top)

Brighter futures provides expectant mothers with various nutritious foods such as milk, oranges and eggs to help meet their nutritious needs (weekly delivery). They meet Fridays from 10-12pm at the Centre. For more Information, please contact us @ 739-8096

This health class is for community members who are looking for a chance to meet new people while getting active and learning important health related information.

Tutoring Program for teens, aimed towards helping Youth in subject area where they experience difficulty

Focuses on educational, social and recreational activities for adults. Activities include: outings, crafts, cooking etc.


C@P | (top)

The Community Access Program of Newfoundland & Labrador have teamed up with the Centre to provide the immediate area of Rabbittown with readily accessible and fully functional computers. Through this fantasic service - kids,teens, adults and seniors may take advantage of any of the following services: Printing, Instant Messaging, Job Bank, Web Browsing, Homework Research, Online Banking, Online Bill Payments* * You may browse worry-free. All of our CAP computers are fully equipped with the latest in anti-spyware and virus protection technology. We offer wireless internet!

When available we will have a CAP Youth Intern onsite a few months of the year to help with things like computer training, internet safety and sometimes computer repair. Please call ahead to see if we currently have a Youth Intern onsite @ 739-8482!


Employment & Career Services | (top)

Employment services are available at the centre from 9 to 4:00pm Monday to Friday We offer resume writing, job search assistance and program referrals. There*s even a job board with new jobs and volunteer opportunities added weekly. So if you are looking for work, interested in Adult Basic Education or going to college call Andrea @ 739-8482 or drop by the centre and see her in person!.


After School Program | (top)

Our after school program runs from 3:00pm to 4:30pm, Monday - Friday. Children between the ages of 5 and 12 come and enjoy an afternoon of various educational activites, provided by staff and volunteers.
