Afterschool Program
Our after school program runs from 2:30pm to 4:30pm, Monday - Friday. Children between the ages of 5 and 12 come and enjoy an afternoon of various educational activites, provided by staff and volunteers.
Youth Program
Offered at the Centre Monday - Friday, from 6:00-8:30pm. The program is open to Youth between 12-17.
Adults Program
Events include: Bingo, card games, Kettle's On (social program), Health Nuts (wellness program), Community Kitchens and much more!
Healthy Baby Club
Brighter futures provides expectant mothers with various learning opportunities in a relaxed environment. They meet Fridays from 10-12pm at the Centre. For more Information, please contact us @ 739-8096
Community Access Program
Currently, there are more than 160 communities in Newfoundland and Labrador that have community access centres. A typical centre has equipment such as computers, printers, and photocopiers, and is staffed by members of the community. A CAP site provides affordable public access to the Internet.
Employment & Career Service
Employment services are available at the centre from 9 to 4:00pm Monday to Friday We offer resume writing, job search assistance and program referrals. There*s even a job board with new jobs and volunteer opportunities added weekly. If you are looking for work, interested in Adult Basic Education or going to college call us @ 739-8482 or drop by the centre and see us in person!.
